PRIVACY AT A GLANCE

• You ask ChatGPT which size to buy. ChatGPT sends our app the product link and the details you chose to share, such as your height and weight. We work out a size and send the answer back.
• We do not store your measurements. They are used once, in memory, to work out the answer, and then discarded.
• We do not send your measurements to the store, to any AI provider or to anyone else.
• The app uses no AI model to answer you. Sizes are worked out with fixed calculations from the brand's size chart and fit information. Some brands' fit notes (for example "runs small") were prepared earlier with AI help; they describe the garment, not you.
• No photos, no virtual try-on, no account, no cookies set by us, no advertising, no sale of data, no profiling.
• Our logs record only which tool was used, which store's website the product is on, how the answer was reached and how long it took, plus the type and outcome of each request.

PART 1: PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Who we are
Rendered Fits Ltd ("we", "us") provides the Rendered Fits app in ChatGPT (the "ChatGPT App"). For the processing described in this notice we are the data controller. This notice covers the ChatGPT App only. Our other services have their own notices at renderedfits.com/legal: the App Privacy Policy (the Rendered Fits widget inside online stores), the Fit Passport Privacy Notice and the Website Legal Documents.

ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI. Your conversation with ChatGPT, and what ChatGPT decides to send to our app, are governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy. We are not part of OpenAI, and OpenAI has not endorsed our app.

2. What we receive
When you ask for a size, ChatGPT may send us:
•  the link to the product page, the product's name and the sizes it comes in;
•  the size chart shown on that product page, as ChatGPT read it;
•  your height and weight;
• if you choose to share them: how you like clothes to fit (tight, regular or loose), whether you want men's or women's sizing, and your chest, waist and hip measurements.
When you ask how a garment fits, ChatGPT sends us only the product link.
We do not ask for your name, email address, location, age, photographs, payment details or your conversation with ChatGPT, and the app is designed not to receive them.

3. How we use it
We use these details only to work out the size to suggest and to explain why, and then return the answer to ChatGPT. The calculation runs in memory on our server. When the answer has been sent, your measurements are discarded. We do not create an account or a profile for you, and we cannot link one question to another.
If the product is sold by a store that uses Rendered Fits, we ask that store for the product's details, size chart and fit information. That request identifies the product only, never your measurements. The store does not learn who you are. The store's fit information may include a short fit note that the brand prepared earlier with the help of an AI model. That note describes the garment, was written before your question and is not based on anything about you; no AI model is used to answer your question.
For any other store we make no request to that store at all.
The link in our answer contains only the product page address, the chosen size option and "utm_source=chatgpt.com", so the store can see that the visit came through this app. Anything else in the link you shared is removed, and the link contains nothing that identifies you.

4. What we keep
• Our application log: one line per answer with the tool used, the store's website address, how the answer was reached (for example "from the brand's size chart") and the time taken; one line per request with its type (for example "tools/call"), the result code and the time taken; and, if something fails, the kind of error. It never contains your measurements, the size chart, the product link or the product name.
• Request logs kept by our hosting providers: the date and time, the address requested on our server and the internet (IP) address and software name of the computer that called it. Requests come from OpenAI's servers, not from your device, so these are normally OpenAI's addresses.
We keep these logs for up to 30 days and use them to keep the service running, prevent abuse and count how often each store's products are asked about.

5. The size card
ChatGPT may show our answer as a small card. The card is displayed by ChatGPT in your browser or app and loads the product photo from the store's image server (Shopify) and our fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web page, those requests reveal your device's IP address to Shopify and Google. The card sets no cookies and contains no tracking.

6. Who processes data for us
• Google Cloud (Google Cloud Run in London, United Kingdom), which hosts the app.
• Cloudflare, which routes requests to the app.
Both act as our processors under data processing terms. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models.

7. Legal basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering the question you asked (UK GDPR and EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The processing is limited to what is needed for that answer, and nothing about you is kept.

8. Where data is processed
The app runs in the United Kingdom. Cloudflare may route a request through a data centre near the calling server, which may be outside the UK. Where that involves a transfer, it is covered by the provider's data processing terms and approved transfer safeguards.

9. Who can use the app
The app gives size guidance only and is suitable for general audiences, including teenagers aged 13 to 17 who use ChatGPT under OpenAI's age rules. It does not use AI image generation, photographs or the Rendered Fits Fit Passport; those features remain for people aged 18 or over, as our other notices explain.

10. Your rights
You have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Because we keep no measurements and nothing that identifies you, we will usually hold no information about you to return or delete. You can still contact us at [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or to your local data protection authority.

11. Changes
If we change what the app receives or keeps, we will update this notice and its version number before the change takes effect.

PART 2: TERMS OF USE

1. These terms apply when you use the Rendered Fits app in ChatGPT. By using it you accept them. The app is free.

2. What the app does. It suggests a clothing size for a product and explains how the garment fits. Where the store uses Rendered Fits, the answer comes from the brand's own size chart and fit information. For any other store, the answer is an estimate from the size chart shown on the product page, and the brand has not checked it.

3. Guidance, not a guarantee. A size suggestion is guidance only. It depends on the measurements you give and on the brand's information, which may be incomplete or wrong. Check the brand's size chart and the store's return policy before you buy.

4. We do not sell anything. Products are sold by the store, under the store's own terms. Any purchase, delivery, return or refund is between you and the store.

5. Fair use. Do not misuse the app, try to disrupt it or use it to collect information about stores in bulk. We may limit or stop access to protect the service.

6. Liability. We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses arising from a size suggestion, including the cost of returning or exchanging an item. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

7. Changes and availability. We may update the app or these terms, or stop offering the app. The version on this page applies.

8. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also bring proceedings where you live and keep the protection of your local consumer law.
