What the check looks at
Fit advice
Whether your product data says how each piece fits, such as "runs small", "true to size" or "relaxed fit".
Size charts
Whether measurements reach the assistant, or stay in a sizing app that only draws them in the shopper's browser.
Model size
Whether products say what size the model wears and how tall they are, one of the few size references an assistant can use.
Categories
Whether products have a standard Shopify category, which assistants use to tell a dress from a jacket and to filter by fit or fabric.
How it works
- Shopify Catalog shares eligible stores' products with AI assistants through a standard catalogue interface. We call your store's catalogue search once, with a word taken from your commonest product type, and read the products it returns.
- We also read your public product feed to choose that word, and one product page to see whether a sizing app draws your chart.
- The result describes the product data assistants receive. It is not a prediction of sales, returns or how any assistant ranks your store.
