A practical checklist for clearer product measurements, consistent size labels and better inputs for size recommendations.

The eight checks

| Product specificity | Different cuts and suppliers reviewed independently. |
| Coverage | All sizes covered; missing values identified explicitly. |
| Shopper explanation | A clear measuring method and access to the original chart. |
| Review ownership | A named person who can resolve errors and check catalogue changes. |
Common mistakes worth catching
Flat width versus circumference: a 48 cm flat chest width is not a 48 cm chest circumference. Record the measurement method before converting values.
Body versus garment: ease belongs to the garment design. Do not subtract or add a standard amount to every product to make a table appear consistent.
Reused charts: a supplier change can make an old size label misleading. Recheck the chart when the cut, fabric or supplier changes.
Turn the review into a shopper check
