Rendered Fits for cashmere and knitwear
Knitwear does not have fixed dimensions the way a woven shirt does. It stretches, relaxes and hangs differently depending on gauge, fibre blend and cut, so a size label says little about how a jumper will sit. Shoppers are often unsure whether to size up for a relaxed drop shoulder or stay true to size for a fitted crew neck.
Rendered Fits works from your own size chart and fit notes, for example ‘relaxed body, long sleeves’, to give a size recommendation for each product. Shoppers can also see a try-on image for a sense of drape and proportion. That image shows appearance only and does not establish physical fit, so the recommendation is only as good as the sizing data you supply.

Install Rendered Fits from the Shopify App Store, add your size chart and a fit note for each knitwear style (relaxed, true to size, cut long in the body), and choose which products show the “Try it on” button from the app dashboard.
