Rendered Fits for lingerie and intimate apparel

Virtual Try-On for Lingerie & Intimate Apparel

Lingerie sizing is a two-part measurement, band and cup, and brands cut them differently. Sister sizes, stretch in the band and the difference between a balconette and a plunge all change how a size fits. Some shoppers are also reluctant to order several sizes to try at home.

Rendered Fits' size recommendation works from your own size charts and fit notes; confirm with us that your band-and-cup charts are supported before enabling it. Try-on images involve a photo of the shopper in intimate garments, so consider whether that suits your customers and your brand before enabling it. Images show style and appearance and do not establish physical fit.

What to measure

Nothing here is a guaranteed result. Measure it on your own store before rolling it out wider.

How it works

Install Rendered Fits from the Shopify App Store, add your size charts and a fit note for each style, and choose which products show the size recommendation and the “Try it on” button from the app dashboard.

Try it on your own products

Start with two or three styles that are cut differently, such as a wired balconette and a soft bralette, and compare size exchanges on those against similar styles. Try-on images show style and appearance; they do not establish physical fit. The size recommendation depends on usable sizing data for the product.

Frequently asked questions

Does virtual try-on work for lingerie and intimate apparel?

Lingerie is a garment category, so the size recommendation applies, based on your size chart and fit notes. Try-on images are optional in the sense that you should decide whether they suit your customers; they show appearance only and do not establish physical fit.

Can Rendered Fits recommend band and cup sizes?

It recommends a size from the size chart and fit notes you provide. If your chart lists band and cup measurements and your notes say how each style runs, the recommendation can use them. Without that data it has little to work from.

Do I need to re-shoot my lingerie photos?

No. Rendered Fits works from your existing product images, so no new shoot, 3D asset or developer is required.

How much does Rendered Fits cost for lingerie and intimate apparel brands?
