Rendered Fits adds a sizing-led fitting room to supported Shopify fashion product pages. Shoppers can check a suggested size without uploading a photo; virtual try-on is an optional appearance preview. This guide follows the current setup controls. Allow time to check your product data, theme placement and mobile experience rather than relying on a fixed launch-time promise.
Step 1: Check your catalogue. Choose an adult fashion product with clear imagery, available size variants and usable size information. Review the size chart checklist. A realistic preview does not establish physical fit; assess size recommendations separately.
Step 2: Install from the Rendered Fits Shopify listing and review the requested permissions in Shopify. Open Plan and billing to check product access and image allowances. Free covers one selected product; paid plans have their own allowances and terms. Use the current pricing page before approving a subscription.
Step 3: Open Set up your store. In Setup & design, select Add to my store. Shopify opens the theme editor with the button placed; select Save and return to the app. Installation alone does not mean the button is saved or ready for shoppers. Use Adjust in the theme editor if its position needs changing.
Step 4: Select Preview on my store and test the chosen product on a phone and a desktop. Enter a height and weight, check the suggested available size and review the size information it uses. Photos, try-on and outfits are optional; complete the sizing check first. If a general estimate is shown because no usable chart is available, assess that limitation before rollout.
Step 5: When the store is in preview mode and the checks pass, select Show to shoppers. If it is already live, the app offers Hide from shoppers so you can return to preview. Confirm the saved button, intended product access and customer-visible behaviour on your storefront. Do not publish an unrelated draft theme just to enable the app.
Step 6: For optional photo try-on, use a suitable adult photo you have permission to upload. Follow the current photo notices and privacy information, check garment appearance, and confirm the available variant can be added to cart. Do not replace the published privacy wording with a generic template or promise a guaranteed deletion time.
Step 7: Open Analytics and record completed sizing, try-on and outfit use. Follow the measurement plan to compare return reasons and commercial outcomes over a consistent window. There is no fixed launch time. Installation, saving the theme app block, checking product data and testing the shopper experience are separate steps. Complete the checks before showing it to shoppers.
Rendered Fits uses a Shopify theme app block and setup controls for standard placement. A compatible theme can be configured in the theme editor; custom placements or theme-specific problems may require developer help.
Start with a supported adult garment whose available sizes, size information and imagery you can check. On Free, use the selected product covered by your plan. Test sizing and optional photo try-on before expanding access.
